Hi,
I just wanted to mention, that we had the same problem here, too.
Therefor I have written a small wrapper code for VCollide, which I called
JCollide. Basically it mimics the interface proposed by VCOLLIDE and
just calls the VCOLLIDE routine by using the jni.
It works for win95 and unix as well and it is numerous (at least 20 on
our systems) times faster then the
J3D collision detection. I will release a version by the end of the week
(just needs a littler more testing and documentation)
Best wishes
Jan-Torsten
