[java3d] Java3d1.1.2 - transparent gifs not transparent

Has anyone else noticed that transparent gifs are not transparent
anymore with Java3d1.1.2? I tried it on two different systems
with Windows NT: Viper 550 and NeoMagic (on a Dell Latitude)?

They seemed to work fine with Java3D1.1.1.
