You must attach the model to a BranchGroup and then attach that to the sceneRoot. The
sceneRoot must have the extendable, read, and write child properties.

As far as the wireframe/solid look at the javax.media.j3d.PolygonAttributes class to
set the property and then set that attribute to an appearence class. Then set the
apperence to the GraphicsContext3D which comes from the canvas3D.
