Certify and document server, operating system, configurations, network/peripheral equipment and third party application software used by telephony products. Provide system administration for our engineering's development, QA and lab environments. Provide support to manufacturing, integration services, and Tier 3 customer support and field/system engineers within our organization. Pager support for field and customer support is occasionally required. Provide technical specifications and documentation, unit and system testing and integration. Work with engineering members, testers, customer support, documentation and training groups on Linux and Web based products implemented in releases. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field * Experience in systems integration for both new and existing products * Unix (SuSE Linux, Red Hat and SCO Open Server preferred) * Windows Operating system installation and configuration * System/platform administration and installation * Kernel and performance tuning and optimization * Shell Programming (Korn, Bourne...) * Experience with Web Server installation and configuration (IIS, Apache, Tomcat) * Computer hardware * Able to work both as individual contributor and team member * One to three years of industry experience with Unix and Linux * One to three years of industry experience with Windows * Ability to learn quickly and work independently * Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must do well in a dynamic, group environment - team player * Must interact well with external and internal customers *DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: ** Experience with contact center products and industry * Experience with network administration and support * Experience with 3rd party Telephony products (NMS, Dialogic, AudioCodes) * Experience with VoIP networks and related devices * Experience with network routers (Cisco preferred) * Telephony/Switch (such as Avaya G3, Aspect, Northern Telecom) configuration and administration * Experience with database administration (MS SQL Server preferred) -- Thanks and Regards, Prabhu K.
