Position Description The position will require the candidate to manage a
critical infrastructure transformation IT project. The project entails
laying the foundations of an Enterprise *Identity and Access Management
(IAM)* solution and upgraded Microsoft Exchange platform. The IAM solution
and the Exchange platform will be integrated with two business initiatives
on *Human Resources Information System (HRIS)* and *Disaster Recovery
Operations (DRO).*
*The project entails management of the following resources: *
Microsoft consultant, providing expertise in products being installed and
upgraded
CSC, partners hosting *American Red Cross (ARC)* infrastructure
*ARC IT organization units*, including Operations & Engineering, Solutions
Engineering, Test Engineering, End User Support, and Enterprise Architecture
ARC IT Customers, i.e. Lines of business with initiatives identified to
integrate with infrastructure components
The Project Manager will manage timeline and allocation of project and
financial resources. Funding for the project and its integrating
applications are allocated from three sources. It will be the Project
Manager's responsibility to ensure clear / consistent reporting of resource
allocations and utilizations to project stakeholders.
*Experience required in the following areas Project Manager with experience
in managing: *
IT Infrastructure projects Identify and Access Management implementation
[optional]
Projects with multiple solution providers
Projects with multiple sources of funding
Additional Information Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
strongly preferred
Monthly Performance (List Tasks & Deliverables to be assigned) Weekly status
report:
Resource availability/allocations/projections
Project Risks to schedule and budget Analysis of financials Analysis on
progress and milestones.
