Role: DATAWAREHOUSE BUSINESS ANALYST *Responsibilities* include working with Business Analysts to understand and document business requirements and translate those requirements into ETL Technical Mapping specifications. This role works closely with Project Manager, ETL Developers, Data Modelers, business clients to support estimating of work, requirements translation and documentation, issues resolution, requirements verification & validation, systems and integration testing, preparing for production install, managing incident and change requests. Includes consulting with business partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates. We would like to see candidates that started as developers and moved into an analyst role. *Required Skills:* *Knowledge of SCLC (System Development Life Cycle) *Must be detailed oriented and team oriented *Experienced with unit, system and integration testing *Knowledge in documenting test cases *Ability to address overall data quality in the warehouse, including the design of ETL strategies to source, match and merge from the various source systems *Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend solutions *Ensure the quality of the data warehouse data *Write ETL specifications and mapping documents *Define and deliver consistent ETL standards, methodologies, guidelines & techniques *Provide functional and technical support to business and IT customers for existing and future IT data warehouse and business intelligence systems *Database analysis (i.e. mapping tables and columns from source to destination databases) *Documentation (i.e. noting in standard format the mapping, transformations and considerations) *Communication (i.e. communicate your findings to the team, challenge other's findings and accept challenges to your findings) *Strong experience with SQL/Oracle/DB2 databases; Unix and Mainframe (TSO) *Strong ETL development experience a plus, especially with Ab Initio and Informatica -- Thanks and Regards, Prabhu K.
