I have a DVD/MPEG player for my PC that allows me to accellerate the video speed up to 1.5x normal and still keep the audio. Very good for catching up with missed F1 races. I'd love a similar feature on my iPhone for podcasts and audio books.
Better yet, as I've recently started jogging, a feature to accellerate/ slow down songs so that they are all played at a BPM (beats per minute) that matches my jogging speed...
