Interesting timing for this post. I seem to take a renewed interest in Smalltalk about once every four years. I've been studying Squeak intensely for the past week. I really like it a lot.
The biggest issue seems to be finding an easy way to run a Smalltalk application from outside the Squeak environment. It seems that the proponents of it feel it is acceptable to have users run applications inside the Squeak environment. I have doubts about that.
