Jan,

I would highly recommend Larry Rosen's book called "Open Sourcing Licensing" which itself is available under an open source license at http://rosenlaw.com/oslbook.htm. It's a thorough discussion of the full range of licenses and the legal issues that they cover, don't cover, might cover, and hope that they cover.

The one caveat about it that it is a bit dated since its publication of 2004. As a result, it does not contain a detailed discussion of two more recent and popular licenses, ASLv2 and GPLv3. Despite that, IMHO, this book provides the best discussion of OSS licenses that I've come across in a single volume.
