Of course I don't know what they know or not; what I see is that they 
exchanged a situation in which their future was subject to an unknown 
commitment (Oracle's about JRuby) with another in which the commitment 
is sure (Engine Yard's about JRuby). Rather than speculation, I call 
that "removing uncertainty".
