Buy another external drive, and a Pogoplug (http://www.pogoplug.com)
or Tonidoplug (http://www.tonidoplug.com). Load the drive and send it
to a friend or relatives house. They plug in the Pogoplug, plug it
into their router, plug in drive, pretty much done. Any USB drive can
be used, so throw a Drobo, or something else more robust if you must.
You now have a mini cloud drive accessible anywhere.
