I disagree with comments on this list like "Joe should not say X" or
"Dick should not say Y" (and must love the Goovy). The Posse are
stating the personal opinions. Go for it! We the listeners can decide
ourselves whether we agree or not. Its always interesting to hear the
arguments put forward.
I think its fine for people to disagree with statements on the podcast
and post their views on the list (and I am sure the Posse would agree),
but I personally feel criticism of the Posse members for expressing an
opinion is bad form - even if biased. Sure, disagree - but don't say
"member X should not express their opinion on topic Y". I would much
rather the Posse keep going, express their opinions, have fun doing it,
and ignore any comments to the contrary. We (the listeners) all know
its just 4 guys expressing personal opinions.
As soon as Posse members feel they have to tip toe around topics I bet
the quality and interestingness of discussions would drop. So I say "go
for it!".
