You're clearly tilting at windmills. For example, if you think that
the beta flash for android is running on the JVM directly, you're
clearly delusional. It's C code.

Also, not a single thing Jobs said is disproved by this video. We
don't know how much more battery this is costing compared to using
<video> for the video demos and some fancy HTML for the first
(ecogarden) demo. The idea that adobe has _CLAIMED_ flash would be
running on a smartphone years ago is also still true. This is also
clearly still beta - only a week ago this played crashed on ecogarden.
All due props to the Adobe engineers that are clearly working hard,
but Apple doesn't want to wait for them to get their software in order
when releasing new iPhones. Google probably will wait for this to be
stable enough to include in Frojo. I don't see any reason to call
either choice evil.

The main point that the recent apple vs. flash commentary has been
about is using flash tools to generate Objective C code that you then
turn into an app. It has not been about running flash in mobile
safari.
