Just read it, while you were posting, and it's basically not
surprising. Let's recall that iPhone hit the street in a relevant time
advance with respect to Android.
In particular, it confirms my (and others') point about Android being
much more known in USA than in Europe. In Italy I've not seen yet a
single advertisement (while iPhone regularly hits prime time TV ads),
and even my mother knows what an iPhone is. I don't understand why
Google is not pushing ads to countries like mine (BTW, Italy is not
usually on the top of interesting charts, but in this case is: it's
one of the country with the higher density of phones per inhabitant).
