Interesting to hear. When I switched to Java and have chosen NetBeans, my boss and other people have looked at me in a strange way because they thought, the defacto standard Java IDE quite everybody uses is Eclipse. Well I decided after looking and trying both from a current view (current means about 2 years ago here) - none of those who wondered knew NetBeans or have tried it before (or only in it's very early days).
