Hi all, As a long-term listener of the JavaPosse podcast, I hope you don't mind a shameless plug?
I've finally got round to creating my own technical podcast, with Chris Dewar and Ben Hartigan. I am primarily a Java developer, with recent experience with C- sharp / .NET and Objective-C (iPhone development) and often wished that I had other people to share my thoughts with, but, I did not want to stick to forums - there's nothing better than speaking to someone 'in real life'. That's exactly what I'm doing with Chris and Ben, but one step better, we decided to record our conversations, for others to benefit from. My motivation has been through the Java Posse, Tech Zing, This week in Tech and This week in startups. After recent episodes, encouraging entrepreneurs to just jump in with both feet, the BitBanter podcast was born, you can get to our first episode through http://bitbanter.com. The most important thing for us, is to gain traction, in other words, we want other people to know about us... so please (begging time), please, please, forward this email to your other technical friends, leave comments on forums about us, but most importantly, once you have subscribed to the podcast, please click on the 'customer reviews' section and add a (high) rating and comment ;-) I also intend to add screencasts and other useful resources to the site, so your help spreading the word will be appreciated!!
