It's cool... I get annoyed by people that bash Apple for being a very smart and successful business. They do things that make sense for their business.
Having worked there, I know they put consumer user experience first - far above the needs of developers. But... they sure seem to treat their developers extremely well. At least, the folks that *actually* develop for the Apple platforms seem happy. It's the folks that don't that make the most noise about Apple. As I've said many many times - what I care about is user experience. Apple does it very well, because it is a core focus of their business. It doesn't mean they are the greatest on the planet - but they are very good. Google's Android is pretty damn good too! I have seen some very impressive things as of recent, and I will certainly be picking up an Android tablet when a good one hits the shelves. Overall, I am just very excited that user experience is becoming such a focus for software and devices of present!
