"Apple's alleged plans, reported on Thursday, would be dependent upon
"Universal SIM" technology, which would allow users to switch between GSM
networks without having to switch out a SIM card for connectivity to a
wireless network."

Does this imply that in the US, if you switch carriers, you have to change
SIM card? Do you have to change number as well? This hasn't been the case in
Belgium for years, but maybe I've misunderstood.
