I did. I was still in my "Microsoft hater" phase (Amiga forever) and I
wasn't going to surrender to a Windows operating system without putting up
one hell of a fight.

OS/2 was unusable. I gave it a fair shot for about a month and between the
non stop swapping (you needed a lot of ram), regular crashes and poor
Windows emulation, it was a huge hassle to just maintain it, let alone do
something useful with it. Not as bad as Linux, but close. By the way, I'm
referring to Warp (OS/2 2.0).

Of course, there was no Internet back then so finding material to help you
troubleshoot it was impossible.

Windows 95 was a breath of fresh air when it came out and it ran rings
around Warp.
