Monstrosity is not a correct word, while I do understand that Java ME is
no more a strategic asset. I'd understand whether Google stopped any
development on a JME application, but I can't understand why it has to be
completely removed, as the previous poster said that in some way others
are being able to manage it. Especially in this crisis scenario, you can't
force *all* the people to buy a new phone because they can't read the mail
any longer.
In any case, I find excessive to say that Google is fighting a crusade
against Java.
