To compile your program.....C:\dir>javac xxxx.java......dir is where your file program is located To run it C:\dir>java -jar xxxxx.jar this is what i did; C:\Documents and Settings\ybico\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\MyJavaProjects\MyHelloProject2\src\myhelloproject2> javac MyHelloProject2.java C:\Documents and Settings\ybico\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\MyJavaProjects\MyHelloProject2\dist>java -jar MyHelloProject2.jar good luck ybico
