Hello, I joined this class after learning about it not long ago through an email, and I am having trouble compiling .java programs that I have made. Specifically I am having difficulty turning them into .class files using javac. I interpreted the intructions as that there is supposed to be a program in JDK 6 that is supposed to compile the .java files and I believe it is supposed to be called javac. I have tried opening the .java program with an application called javac in the directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12\bin. but a cmd window pops up then disappears very quickly without doing anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
