Hi everybody
I thought it started. The steps to do are those specified on
"http://www.javapassion.com/javaintro/":
-- Subscribe (if you receive this e-mail you probably did)
-- Read the presentation slides (such as
"http://www.javapassion.com/javase/javaintro.pdf" - the first presentation)
-- Read the specified additional resources
-- Unzip the .zip files containing the labs and the homework
-- Do the labs
-- Send the homework as described
-- Send a mail to the group when in difficulty
-- Answer to other persons in difficulties when you can help
See also the "FAQ" http://www.javapassion.com/coursefaq.html.
There are some dates along each subject. The dates are outdated (they
correspond to the previous session, starting in July 2009), but there is
also a "week number" indication. They represent a fair advancement
rhythm. You may, for e.g. read the materials in "1. Getting started"
this week, than "2. Learning the basics of Java Language" newt week and
the week after, and so on. However, they are only hints, you can advance
in your rhythm, according to your time. It is not unusual to have
motivated peoples doing half of the homeworks in the first couple of
weeks (as the first subjects may be easier than the following and some
people might already be familiar with them).
Anyway, I already started!
Hope it helps
