I am using JDK > 1.6 (Default). I'm very sorry but I cannot reproduce the problem on NetBeans 6.9.1 with JDK 1.6 on a Mac Intel machine. The example runs fine, and frankly apart from a corrupted installation of NetBeans or a corrupted lab, I don't see where can be the problem. The code used in the example runs from JDK 1.1 and upwards.
