Just use -4 (or whatever you want as being the indent margin for first line) as continuation indentation size in Preferences->Editor- >Formatting, language Java, Category Tabs and Indents. It works in NetBeans 6.9.1, but I think it should work in any version of NetBeans, since this indentation feature is very old. Of course, it has to be in phase with the general indentation size.
