Depending on how a list is set up, a control r will normally reply to everyone on the list. However, some lists are set up so that the control r will only go to the sender of the message and not to the entire list. In this case, you would use control shift r to reply to the entire list. If the list is set up so that the control r will reply to the entire list, and you only want to reply to the sender of the message, then you would use a insert shift r to reply to just the sender of the message. These reply options will work in Outlook and Outlook Express both.
