Carliss,
If I understand you correctly, the search you are referring to is
a search within the program looking to see if any of your contacts are
online and then updating the status on all of them such as "Offline", "Busy"
or "Away from keyboard". It's just trying to locate the people in your
lists!
Is that what you are referring to?
