Hi All, thanks for the ideas, and I'm glad to say that it worked, well, sort of.
It wouldn't allow me to put the folder back in the local folders area, so I had to put the folder in another one, but that's o.k. Suffice it to say that the e-mails I saved with such nice tidbits is saved from deletion. Thanks to all who responded, and to Bob, the happy moderator who took action on this as quickly as a horny toad in a room full of rocking chairs...Oops, sorry, wrong analogy...smile.
