You're quite correct on that, I do use it for my anti virus program.  It's
far less of a resource hog than Norton was getting to be.

Go to avgfree.com and check out the free avg antivirus.  I like it just
fine; it put six viruses into the virus vault yesterday.  Easy setup,
scheduled scan every day, updates.  I'm going to buy the pro version on line
which will give me two years for $39.95.  David F uses the pro version, I
believe.  marilyn
