I'm not exactly sure what you mean by highlight the cell, but you could consider either of these ideas if what you are trying to achieve is to make a visual change so that a sighted person can see which cells you want changes made in. 1. Go to the format menu and down to cell. There is a tab in this dialog box that will let you change the background color of the cell you were on when you got into the dialog box. 2. You could add a comment. I've used this feature in Word, but not in Excel. If you think this will work for you, I could see what else I can find out.
