You might want to check-out: http://www.truecrypt.org/ Using this software, you can setup an encrypted vault to store your file(s). You can copy the vault onto a CD, thumbdrive or email the vault to someone.
It is totally Jaws accessible with no scripts. And best of all, it's free.
