Lime wire does work but there's a few things you need to do.

First make sure you have the latest version of Java installed. I got version 6
from sun java.
Once this is installed, then get the latest java access bridge, I have version
2, and install it.

Now that this is done, download and install lime wire. You will find that it's
a little sluggish, but it will work and I find it's not as sluggish with Java 6
as it was with java 5 for some reason.

  Hello there

Does anyone know if Limewire can be used with Jaws? If limewire doesn't
wirk, is there any other free P2P software out there that can be down loaded
from the net.

  Cheers

  Johny
