Hi Patti it's John R. here that problem isn't you causing it, that's the computer not communicating fast enough and the computer is showing you it. just think of it as a spinning wheel, when the computer is working correctly, then the plate is spinning well and smoothly but when the computer slows down or just crashes this is the plate slowing down and so information that is being moved like from one folder to another can't move as fast and so they time out and that's what happends you find basically when it can't recover that's the plate I'va stopping or has stopt the only ways around these are, doing a manual restart like you did, or replacing the computer or letting the computer cool down for a while about 30 minutes because there is a problem a device driver means something that says to the computer, you've got that there, use it like this or like that and it only takes one of them to stop or crash then the computer throws a headache
