Well, I spent a couple of days trying to install JFW on a vista machine without much success. Kept getting JFW display error messages.
Until someone pointed out you must first turn off user accounts. After that, JFW installed successfully. Please do save this tip if anyone out there has any plans on upgrading to vista.
