Hello Denny,
I tried all that without any luck. But I wouldn't give in so I went to the 
program files and pressed enter to open with the same result. Then I tried 
alt left arrow and it came out of the program files, so I pressed alt right 
arrow and it went back into them, and would you believe it it read 
everything. You learn something new every day. all is well, thank you.
