Yes I like the shared method very well myself. The reason is now I only need 
to backup a single address book instead of 3 or 4 because of all the 
identities on this system. You may well imagine I expect a lot out of a 
computer system and as such put it through it's paces almost every day, but 
then you guys keep me pretty busy some times.

I tried the export method and it did not work out.
The options mentioned did not appear as indicated.

So, I did the "shared" file method and it worked great.
