Also, If your not using the DEC Talk Access 32 software synthesizer then
uncheck "Allow wave files with software synthesizers ".
It enables smoother playing of WAV files when using the DEC Talk Access 32
software synthesizer. This option is only available in Default.jcf. It is not
checked by default and can mess with other synths.
Respectfully,
Terrill Reynolds

Hi Terrill,
Thanks, is there a minimum and maximum for the reset frequency?
Or, does this depend on the synthesizer being used.

Hi Richard:
Yes I do find it a problem globally and is very computer specific for the
number of seconds you reset your Synthesizer.
Allot depends on the processor speed, amount of memory, paging size and
whether it resides on the same hard drive as your OS or a second hard drive,
virtual memory resources being used, programs running in the background
etcetera; so you have to sort of play around with the numbers until you get
it the way you want it.

HTH
Warmest wishes,
Terrill Reynolds

Hi Terrill,
Do you find this to be true globally, and not specific to e-mail clients?

Hi:
Besides resetting your Synthesizer frequency in default configuration
manager if you have document name and tool tip checked in your OE, (or what
ever mail client your using) configuration manager it can cause the subject
to be read twice.

Best wishes,
Terrill Reynolds

hello it does that with eudora also.
you go down the subject lines see one you don't want to read and delete it.
sometimes when you arrow down to the next subject it will say the
same line you just deleted.
but if you go one up then back down it reads whats really there.
if you don't know whats going on you can delete the same subject line
5 times just to find you have been dumping things you wanted.
