How does one scan after they are on your pc?

  Have you saved the attachments to your hard drive by hitting insert plus A to 
focus on the attachments, then on the file menu select save all.
  Once on your hard drive you can get a better look at them and scan them for 
viruses.  You don't have to worry about getting a virus by just saving an 
attachment to your computer, it is only when you open an attachment that has a 
virus that you can become infected; but you have to open it to get infected.
  Try saving them to your hard drive and see what is there.
