I believe you are correct regarding rebooting your system after a fresh install, but it might not be a bad practice to check from time to time and see if they did update the video intercept as well. I think this is why you have to restart your computer each time after you reinstall or update JAWS, because the Video Intercept also gets reinstalled or updated. Hope that helps.
