Patricia.
If you can get to your desk top and make sure that nothing is selected,
route your PC to Jaws and press your right mouse button.
This will bring up up a list of commands and will include, shortcut. Press
enter on that and tab to browse. You should be able to find the program by
navigating the browse dialogue.
I am sure you can follow what you need to do after that.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Putting Programs on Desktop

Good Evening Y'all,

How do I go about putting program applications on the desktop when I have to
use a keyboard of 88 keys in laptop layout mode and there is no
application/context key or windows key to use?

When I go to the start menu and arrow to the program normally I can do this
without a hitch on my computer's keyboard, but this is someone elses that
has to use this particular keyboard being as they only have one arm and one
hand...
We do use the sticky key but so far that hasn't helped in this situation. I
have tried doing alt-enter on the item but that doesn't help ither.

Please help if possible. This is a computer running xp pro and jaws 8.

Thanks,

Patricia
