Hello, I unchecked "Show emoticons" in skype, so when someone sends me emoticon I can see a text instead of picture. This way I learn how to present an icon using text. For example I write :d or :) and on the other's persons monitor it shows a smily picture. For discriptions of other emoticons you can look at: http://www.eddieoneverything.com/software/hidden-skype-icons-and-emoticons.php Not everything there could be understood (some things are visual) but I hope it can be helpful.
