Hi Debbie, If you have the wherewithal, and, if Adobe lets you do this, I would recommend you convert it to an html 3.2 format document.
You would load the entire file, which would take a while to load and for the reader to make it accessible, then, assuming it's saved on your hard drive already, do a save as, by going into the file menu and pressing the A key for save as..., then in the format drop down box, save as html 3.2 or something like that. After it's converted, you can go through the document, and use the jaws find command, and/or use placemarkers, temporary or permanent, to bookmark your place in the document. I find it much more easier than having to navigate through a large PDF document with Adobe. Just my opinion or experience. Hope this helps.
