This is a little off topic but just kind of on the edge. Never the less a 
wireless card is just exactly that, it doesn't require a wire to connect it 
up to your outer. It is a broad band card just like a wired card, so in that 
respect there's no difference. I must say these are very good questions well 
phrased.
