Since downloading the newest build, I think the incidences of
spontaneous openings of Internet Explorer when I hit escape have
increased significantly. It hasn't bothered me much before with
previous builds of the beta, but it's getting kind of ridiculous
now--nearly every HTML message results in an unwelcome spontaneous
opening of IE every time I hit escape. So if you put a link to your
favorite web page at the bottom of your message, you can best believe
I'm going to visit that page whether I want to or not.

This didn't happen with JAWS 8.1 using my hapless old DoubleTalk LT
synthesizer, but it's happening constantly now with the latest build of
9 using the Eloquence internal synth.

I don't really see a point in filling out a form on this if others are
experiencing it and have already done so. If not, (and I'm writing to
the list to determine how widespread my experience is), then obviously
the right thing to do is complete the form, which I certainly will.

The other thing that often happens when I hit escape to exit a message
is that I will be in a reply screen even though I've not touched
Control+R. I'm using Outlook 2007 on an XP machine.

Regards,

Nolan
