Sounds like it.  the "Check For updates..." button, in the full version,  is 
in the JAWS help menu, and you have to activate it manually.  Guess they 
don't want you to be going on a demo merry-go-round forever.

Hey, I can't check for updates. There's not even an option to turn that
feature off in basic settings. Is this a limitation of JAWS in demo mode?
