Hello All,

Incidentally, this is my first post to the list; I've just joined and am
really looking forward to taking advantage of the wealth of resources about
JAWS that seem to be here.

I'm often looking at websites with other sighted people, and have found it
somewhat frustrating in the past to show the other person where I am located
on the web page. This could seem quite insignificant, but believe me--when
you are on a very long catalogue, study guide or database, it can be crutial
to know where the other is on the page, so that you can be examining the
same pieces of information. Well, with JAWS 9.0, all that is necessary is
for me to highlight a few words on the line I'm sitting on with a command
like CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW. Since JAWS can now track the highlighting
visually on-screen, I find that this is a terrific reference marker for a
sighted person to see, and almost feel that this should be added to the
documentation as an interesting use of the on-screen highlight tracking
feature.

So, after using JAWS 9.0 for a couple of months now, I just couldn't ever go
back!

Cheers,

Grant
