I went to Radio Shack this weekend and asked if they had any blue tooth technology to allow me to hear my computer through a blue tooth ear piece. The salesman said yes and sold me two items. The first was some type transmitter that plugs into the USB port on the computer and transmits the signal. The second was an ear piece which supposedly works up to 300 feet from the transmitter.
I successfully installed, paired, and configured everything. According to the salesman the audio was supposed to come through this device and be heard in the ear piece. I get no sound. I went to the control panel figuring I would need to select this as my sound choice (salesman said just turn down main speakers and you would hear it) but it is not an option. Anyone on here using blue tooth earpieces or headsets, speakers etc to hear their computer?
