Are you sure you don't mean the application key?  The Windows key on either
side of the spacebar both perform the same function.
You most likely have an application key located someplace on your laptop.  I
would suggest turning on your Jaws keyboard help, insert 1, and then begin
pressing some of the extraneous keys to see if one of them is the
applications key or context menu key.

I have a laptop with a full size keyboard including numeric keypad with one
exception. Unlike my desktop I do not have a windows key next to the alt key
on the right side which can be used to spellcheck only one word instead of
the entire document. How can I spellcheck just one word on my laptop. The
windows key on the left of the alt key on the laptop brings up the start
menu.
