Hi David, Olympus makes a device that you can plug into your DS50 and attach to the phone for recording phone conversations. I believe it costs around $20.00. The Olympus store phone number is 1-800-201-7766. I purchased one of these devices for my DS30 and just haven't got around to trying it yet. Good luck.
