Dear Ryan and Denny I have checked the tools menu as per your suggestion; the auto name checking is checked, but there is no "suggest names while completing" option; is this for the 2007 version of Outlook only? I use Outlook 9 with Office 2000. Perhaps it's time to upgrade??? Thanks, Samira

How can I set it to do this? I went over all the options in the tools menu but could not find a radio button for autocomplete. In Eudora, once you enter a recipient into the address book, Eudora complete the address as soon as you type the initial letter. Thanks for any help.
